Pros

We especially love that you can control so many of the features: everything from the height and distance of the stream to the color effects. We like that you have so many options to control the LED water fountain colors. It’s fun to have a rainbow effect for backyard parties or a pure white option for when you require more tranquility.

Another feature not previously mentioned is the sound. While the laminar flow fountain runs quietly, you’ll enjoy the auditory experience as the stream gently enters our pool or other water feature. It’s a subtle sound that masks neighborhood noises that would otherwise be a nuisance.

We appreciate the fact that the laminar is easy to install and comes up to date with the latest technology. Who doesn’t love controlling their water feature from their mobile device?!

Cons

We’re not too keen on the price point. At approximately $795 for a single laminar, the Pentair MagicStream LED water fountain can be expensive. It can get quite costly when you add additional laminars.

The warranty is pretty standard, but you do get ‘dinged’ for self-installation. You receive a one (1) year warranty if installed by a pool professional or just a sixty (60) day warranty if installed by a non-professional.
